Chris Askew
Chris brings a depth of experience in management and organisational structures for creative businesses. He spent eight years as Partner and Practice manager of one of the most innovative architecture Practices in the country.
He has both taught and examined management, practice and law at a variety of Universities and continues to lecture on the topic. In 2007 Chris established his own consultancy in Bristol providing specialist support in areas including organisational structures, succession planning and business development.
In the same year he joined forces with Nick Childs to establish Urban Design Studios to find alternative ways of generating creative space.

The practice also carries out architectural projects, refurbishment of workspaces and recently completed a feasibility study for a charity, Emmaus UK, to establish and operate an eco-hostel in a regenerated mine in Wales.

•1999-2007 Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios -Partner and Practice Manager at award winning architecture practice specialising in sustainable design. Responsibilities included membership of the strategy group, resource planning, fee proposals and appointments, job costing, contract issues, human resources and skills development.
